Here I am again, with a delicious orange and chocolate combination. If you love this combination, you need to try this home-made chocolate snack.
I also chose to add quinoa pops, firstly because they are delicious, and secondly they are a good source of fibre which is very beneficial for our gut and overall health.
I used milk chocolate chips in this recipe, however, you can also use dark or even white chocolate depending on your taste and liking.
If you like to watch the video of the full recipe, you can head over to my Instagram page, @sunacenk.

Ingredients:
- 100 grams chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup quinoa pops
- Zest of an orange
- A pinch of salt
Method:
I used only one plate for this recipe (as I don’t really like dish washing part of recipe development), so you can also do the same.
The first step is to grate the orange peel in a suitable dish – suitable for melting chocolate with the bain-marie style.
Then, add a pinch of salt.
Chocolate chips is then to be added and melted by the bain-marie method. I believe a microwave can also be used for this process, if you have your hands on one. It would be a quicker method as well.
Once the chocolate has melted, the quinoa pops can be added and mixed well.
Then, I placed the mixture between two sheets of baking paper and pressed the mixture to flatten it using my hand.
If you like, by the use of a knife, gently cut your mixture into tiny squares while it is soft. This makes it easier to eat it when the chocolate solidifies.
When the mixture was flattened to the desired thinness, I put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
After a couple of hours, the chocolate should be solidified and ready to be eaten.
Enjoy!
